TV series In the 1978 TV Series The Incredible Hulk, his name is David Bruce Banner, a widowed physician and scientist, who is haunted by the death of his wife. Afterward, during an electrical storm, David tried to fix a flat tire on his car, and extreme anger and pain caused him to turn into the Hulk. When he calmed down and rested, he changed back into his human self. David had no memory of what happened to him or what he did during his transformation. When investigative reporter, Jack McGee tried to talk to him, he said: Mr. McGee, Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry. A chemical explosion occurred and David transformed into the Hulk again. He rescued Dr. Elaina Harding Marks, his business partner, but she dies afterward. Jack McGee believes that David Banner is dead and the Hulk committed 2 murders. He visits the cemetery and continued hunts for the Hulk hoping to publish sensational information.
