Jason Scott Jenkins was born and raised in Hammonton, New Jersey. He has 3 sisters and 8 brothers. He was athletic growing up in Elwood, N.J. playing football and wrestling from an early age. His athletic passion for football resulted in a full ride scholarship to University of Nebraska. Jason and his teammates lead the Cornhuskers to National Championships back to back. Jason continued his football career playing with the Professional Canadian Football League, the Toronto Argonauts. Exploring his athleticism Jason caught the eye of a boxing trainer while working out at a gym. This led to his 5 and 1 professional record. Exploring his skills and passions growing up he knew he always wanted to get into the modeling and acting industry. He left New Jersey and moved to Manhattan to pursue these aspirations. With his diversely ethnic look he landed his first audition as a big and tall model with one of the most well-known photographers in NYC and thus his future endeavors began. Jason has been successfully modeling for Kohl's, JC Penny's and Sears/Kmart for 11 consecutive years. As a natural progression, Jason made a decision to break through into acting. Jason's first trip to Los Angeles was to visit a former football teammate. This was a defining moment in his life, changing the direction of his future. In addition to numerous commercial work, Jason has had several appearances on both Nip Tuck, The Conan Show, and recently booked a speaking guest star appearance on Showtimes Shameless. Throughout experience, education and exploring the television and film industry; he has successfully showcased and utilize his creative talents to embark on other ventures.
