Jason Lawrence Olive was born in Los Angeles, CA. where, as a child, he studied drama under legendary actress Jane Fonda and members of the Steppenwolf theatre. Jason became an athlete and attended the University of Hawai'i at Manoa on a full volleyball scholarship. There, under the mentor-ship of Terrance Knapp, Jason continued to study acting and began working towards a career in the arts.Jason became one of the worlds first male supermodels and appeared in advertising through-out the world for top designers. In 1998 he left the fashion industry to pursue acting full time.Most recently Jason has appeared in over 176 episodes over 6 seasons as the star of Tyler Perry's For Better Or Worse. the series originally aired on TBS before moving to the Own Network.
