Born in Lethbridge, Alberta, Chad left the prairie life and headed to Vancouver straight out of High School to pursue his acting career and make a name for himself in the film scene. Shortly after the move however, he was selected as a "New Face" Model and immediately landed various modeling campaigns for such companies as Ibiza Hippie, Jean Paul Gaultier, Escada, Gucci and Swiss Army. Although the modeling world continued to offer multiple opportunities for Chad to venture down, acting was what he really wanted and soon relocated back to Western Canada.Still new to Vancouver, Chad entered the "Faces West" Model and Talent Convention where he was given the chance to showcase his talents to major film studio heads and fashion designers alike. After 3 days of competition, Chad won awards for 7 of the 8 events including Dramatic Monologue, Comedic Sitcom, Commercial, Swimsuit, Runway, Cold Reading and Singing. Little did he know that this would lead him to his first lead role in the independent feature film "Sleepover Nightmare" just one month after the convention, but that was just the beginning.Throughout the years, with ongoing training and continued dedication, Chad has now built himself up quite the resume including multiple Feature Film and Television roles, including a Guest Star role opposite Amanda Tapping on the SYFY series "Sanctuary", multiple roles on the hit series "Supernatural" and recently a key role on the new J.J. Abram's series, "Alcatraz".Chad can also be seen in such features as "The Wingman", "Brotherhood", "Killer Bash", "Replay", "Texas Road" and "Pestilence". His TV appearances span across numerous series such as "John Doe", "The Selection", "Sanctuary", "Supernatural", "Shattered", "Alcatraz", "Cult", "Played", "Bates Motel", "Cedar Cove" and "The Flash".Alongside his ongoing acting career, Chad started his very own independent production company, Rook Entertainment back in 2009. Not a believer in "waiting" for things to happen, Chad wrote and directed the music video "Guilty" for international artist Chloe Morgan and put together his own online sketch comedy series "FineLine" in which he directed and also starred in.Since then, Chad has teamed up with his fellow "FineLine" cast member, Nathan Witte in late 2011 and developed a new Production Company, CheckMate Films. Since the start of the new company, Chad has written, directed and produced the independent films "She Walks at Night" and "The Doors". CheckMate Films are currently filming the full length Comedy Feature Film titled, "The Perfect Pickup" which Chad also wrote and will be directing and starring in come 2016. Along with numerous other independent Feature Film projects in the works such as "Walk the Walk", "Room 34", "A Day Down There" and "Hell Mary", Chad gained international recognition as his recurring character on the fan-crazed episodic CW Network TV Series, "Cult". This quickly led to even more unique TV Series characters in such shows as "Played", "Bates Motel", "Cedar Cove" and he recently landed the main villain role on the CW's pilot "The Flash". In the meantime Chad has just finished filming the Feature Film thriller, "My Life As a Dead Girl", has a recurring character on the Hallmark series, "Cedar Cove", is currently in the new CW Series "iZombie" and is currently filming in Austria as the lead character, 'Conrad' in the Feature Film, "Devil, Devil, Devil" starring opposite of "Schindler's List" actor, Erwin Leder. If that wasn't enough to keep the young actor busy, then his schedule is really going to get busy in the near future as he just landed a major role on the 2017 Summer Blockbuster, "War for the Planet of the Apes" opposite, Woody Harrelson and is also starring in the new Jerry Bruckheimer series, "Home". Needless to say, the future is looking both very bright, and very busy for Chad. Show less «
